    • Schools across Wayne County held their commencement ceremonies honoring the hundreds of students graduating as part of the Class of 2013. The day — one of considerable pomp and circumstance — marks the start of a new chapter for students as they enter the world as young adults. The commencement ceremony offers a last chance for photos with friends and family after each student makes that walk across stage to accept their high school diploma. Donning their caps and gowns, it is apparent a lot of has changed since the day these students were born some 18 years ago. Back in 1995, TLC, Mariah Carey and Boys II Men were topping the music charts and “Se7en”, “Toy Story” and “The Usual Suspects” were among the most popular feature film releases. A postage stamp cost .32 cents, gasoline was only $1.35 and the average income was a little over $19,000 a year. And the most popular shows on television were Seinfeld, ER and Home Improvement. The Wayne Post wishes each and every student in the Class of 2013 the best. See a full list of candidates for graduation across Wayne County in this week's Wayne Post.
