In January, our lawmakers in Albany came up with a silly law (S696-B) that prohibits the sale of products containing DMX to persons under 18, and that proof of age is required. (Apparently teens get high drinking large quantities of cough syrup). Sections 8 to 10 of the law clearly state that "Such identification need not be required of any individual who reasonably appears to be at least 25 years of age.”

I never saw a tick on me, even after years of walking the dog, hiking and trail running. But I recently noticed a painless rash on my leg. I thought it was a bug bite, or possible hair follicle irritation. I thought nothing of it.
