LYONS — Dissolution may have yet to be decided, but the Lyons mayor is hoping to move forward with some changes that have the potential to save village taxpayers money.Mayor Terry VanStean said 38 percent of the village is tax exempt due to being the seat for Wayne County government, putting a heavier burden on village taxpayers. He said he has talked to county officials about the matter and the feedback has been promising.
