The jury in the Charlie Tan trial went home without reaching a verdict on day three of deliberations. The 19-year-old is charged with second degree murder in the death of his father, Jim Tan, a Canandaigua executive.

A second person in New York State has died from Eastern Equine Encephalitis. The Oswego County Health Department says the adult in the Town of Albion, in Oswego County, died after being hospitalized with the illness.
