I am compelled to respond to the letter of March 9 by Ken Romeiser from Shortsville. The anti-veal writer readily admits that he's not a farmer, and he's sure he's naïve. Well, might I suggest that he take the time to become informed about “calves in their little igloo huts with a small cage attached to the front.” He wrongly and immediately assumes that these calves are destined to be covered in marinara and mozzarella.
