When I’m in the mood to be traumatized, I usually just go bathing suit shopping. Jeans shopping runs a close second. But when I really want to be both traumatized and insulted, I can always count on the ladies at the makeup counter of the department store to help me out. It would seem to me that in addition to whatever beauty schooling they get in eyeshadow blending and lipstick application, they would also benefit from some good old-fashioned sensitivity training 101.

Alligators have been used as shoes, briefcases, university mascots, lunch and now, authorities in Florida say, a deadly weapon. A man threw the alligator through the drive-thru after getting his soda.

Deputy Brian Natalie was a jail deputy for 15 years, sadly, he died over the weekend. 21 jail bureau recruits volunteered their time this weekend at the Cupid's Cup 5K race in Victor in Deputy Natalie's honor.

Patrick Breen, 23, is charged with rape in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child. Troopers say Breen raped a 16-year-old girl in April 2015 in the Town of Lyons.
