SPICY FARE
Biaggi's at Eastview staff and crew serve up spicy fare for shoppers, families and foodies. On Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. they will host a special five course dinner created to pair perfectly with five featured wines. Reservations are required at (585) 223-2290. Cost is $55 per person, inclusive.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN
The Ganondagan Winter Games and Sports will celebrate traditional Native American winter activities this Saturday, Feb. 4. The event will feature dog sledding demonstrations, traditional arts, the snowsnake game, storytelling, snowshoeing and native foods. The winter games, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. is free and open to the public, but there’s a suggested donation of $5/family. The event will take place with or without snow. The Ganondagan State Historic Site is located at 1488 Route 444, Victor. More info at www.ganondagan.org.

SNO-CROSS RETURNS
The two-day event, ISOC Freestyle Tour, is complete with amateur, semi-pro and professional snowmobile racing, includes an aerial freestyle show, as well as snowmobile related vendors. The event will be held at the Finger Lakes Casino and Racetrack in Farmington this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 3-4. Top athletes will complete, including world record holder Levi Lavalle, who jumped his sled over 400 feet. Advanced tickets are $25 one-day pass, or $40 weekend pass. Junior tickets, $15 one-day, $20 weekend. (At the door, additional $5 adult and $3 junior) Available at www.extremetix.com or at the Finger Lakes Casino and Racetrack. WALK WITH WINE IN HAND
The monthly Canandaigua Wine Walk is this Saturday, Feb. 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. Grab a commemorative wine glass for $5 at any participating merchant, sample wines from Finger Lakes Wineries, and explore historic Canandaigua. More info: www.downtowncanandaigua.com.

SKIPPY’S ART
Beginning Feb. 2, running through March 10, the  public will be able to see Skippy Raines’ watercolors in an exhibit she calls “Skippy’s World” at Wood Library in Canandaigua. A reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2. Her paintings, from 1995 to present, will be on view at the library, on the second floor, 134 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Attention all boat lovers: The 2012 Rochester Boat Show will be at the Riverside Convention Center, at 123 E. Main St. The center will display boats from large to small, all makes and models, also features wine tasting, daily giveaways, drawings and special events at most dealerships. The four day event is from Thursday-Sunday, Feb. 2-5. Parking is at South Avenue Garage. Part of proceeds benefit Hunter’s Hope. More at www.rochesterboatshow.com/
