Penfield—After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Winifred Kaper died peacefully at home on Aug. 7, 2013. She had a passion for gardening, dancing, playing cards and being with family and friends.

Penfield—After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Winifred Kaper died peacefully at home on Aug. 7, 2013. She had a passion for gardening, dancing, playing cards and being with family and friends.


Friends were invited to join the family from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11 at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, 5823 Walworth-Ontario Road, Ontario.


She was predeceased by her husband, Richard and brother, Kenneth Frazer. Survived by her brother, James (Evelyn) Bushwood; niece, Sally (Frank) Ross; nephews, Kenneth Frazer, Thomas and Timothy (Rhonda) Bushwood; grandnieces, Megan Ross, Amanda and Ashley Bushwood; special friends, Thomas (Barbara) Brandisi and family; sisters-in-law, Harriet Pulcini and Jeanette Severt; brother-in-law, Albert Kaper; many friends and members of Penfield Senior Citizen.
