Canandaigua—Lori VonWald was welcomed home on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, after courageously accepting in faith the challenge she had been called to do. With her loving and devoted husband by her side, she peacefully entered into heaven's gates to be fully restored and made whole for eternity.
A 10 a.m. memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17, at Crosswinds Wesleyan Church, 3360 Middle Cheshire Road, Canandaigua. Arrangements are under the care of Fuller Funeral Home Inc., Canandaigua.
Lori was born in Newark, N.Y., on May 25, 1962, to Bernie and Barbara Marshall. She attended Newark High School and graduated with a degree in human services. She was a behavioral specialist at Canandaigua ARC. Lori had a loving, laughing, generous and faith-filled approach to everyone she met on her 51-year journey. She was a great gift to her family and many in her community. She will be greatly missed.
Lori is survived by her husband, Glen VonWald; loving mother, Barbara; and siblings, Pam (Eric) Arrington, Tom (Kathy) Marshall, Jude (Paul) Hentschl, Rick Marshall, Don Marshall, Cheri (Tim) Healy and Patty (John) Pietropoulo. She was predeceased by her father, Bernard Marshall.
