Kay is also survived by her sister-in-law, Katherine Mark; her niece, Nora (Stanley) Vrooman, grand-nephew, Shawn Anderson; many friends; and her beloved pug, Irish. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Jerry.
Kay was very proud of her Irish heritage. She had a special zest for life that will be remembered by her family. Kay was quick witted and she guided her family through her personal knowledge and unconditional love. She will best be remembered for her love of all creatures, big and small, her family and God. A special thank you goes out to the staff at Pines of Peace Comfort Care Home in Ontario, along with those who assisted in her care at both Highland Hospital and FF Thompson Hospital. Kay was guided, throughout her life, by her faith and involvement with the Roman Catholic Church.
Those wishing may leave a message for the family between now and Sept. 17 may do so at legacy.com.
