NEWARK — Reliant Community Credit Union was founded as a teachers’ credit union, and part of its mission is to support education and youth in the communities served by the credit union.
For the past several years, they have provided mementos to local high school seniors in recognition of their educational achievement. This year, they distributed more than 3,300 commemorative window sticker decals imprinted with “Class of 2013” and the school’s mascot to participating schools. Seniors who received the stickers also had the chance to enter a drawing to win one of several iPad minis.
As part of Reliant Community Credit Union’s Class of 2013 recognition program, six local graduates headed out into the next phase of their lives with brand new iPad minis. One of those lucky recipients was Zackary Mott, a Newark High School graduate of the Class of 2013. Congratulations, Zackary!
