  • LYONS Rajah is a 3-year-old, neutered, Seal Point Siamese kitty. He came to the shelter because his owner could no longer care for him due to health issues. He likes other cats and is learning about dogs while at the shelter. He has a very sweet and loving temperament. Rajah loves to play and can sometimes be a little rough. He likes to be picked up and held for short periods of time. Rajah is available through the Adult Companion Program to those who qualify. Melony is a 6-year-old, spayed, black and tan Belgian Shepherd mix. She came to the shelter because she was not being cared for by her owner. She is very sweet and needs a home that will be patient with her as she learns about her new surroundings. She would need to meet any resident dog in the home. Her favorite toys are tennis balls and she can be very protective of them. Melony is available through the Adult Companion Program to those who qualify. For more information, call the Humane Society of Wayne County at 946-3389 Tuesday through Saturday or stop by the Humane Society at 1475 County House Road in Lyons.
