To my fellow cast members of the award-winning Traveling Cabaret, I want you to know how proud I am of each and every one of you! Words aren't sufficient, but to tell you that I'm bursting with pride for your quick actions, compassion and caring when I suffered that unfortunate accident shortly before the Traveling Cabaret's Summer Concert Series show on Aug. 11, 2013.
I want the world to know how compassionate and professional you are, and how deeply gracious I am that I am a part of such a wonderful troupe of individuals. Special and heartfelt thanks to Mark, Sandy, and Roseann for your immediate aid in my distress, prior to being rushed to the hospital.
Your prayers, calls, cards, visits and well wishes have meant so much to me during this trying time.
The large audience, at the gazebo site, never knew that only shortly before the 90-minute musical revue was to begin, an entire show had to be completely changed and revamped. I have been told by many who were in the audience that the Cabaret show was spectacular, and, although I am not surprised, I am beyond words for all that you accomplished to provide the audience members with the type of song, dance and comedy show for which we are renown.
The next weeks will be trying, but I know that you are sitting with me on my shoulder.
I am blessed to be a part of such a caring group of "extended family"!
