Senior captain Katie Kull tallied 26 assists and six aces to lead Victor to a season-opening win over Canandaigua in girls volleyball.
MaryKate Ramker and Hannah Stewart combined to add 21 kills for the Blue Devils, 11 by Ramker and 10 from Stewart. Victor won the match 25-13, 25-12, 25-17.
The Victor girls tennis team opened up the season with a win over Penfield on Wednesday, defeating the Patriots 5-2.
Sarah Newton and Ellen Newton teamed up for a 6-4, 6-2 win at third doubled to help the Blue Devils to the victory.
Nick Waite carded a one-over par 37 at Eagle Vale Golf Course to lead Midlakes to a season-opening win over Harley-Allendale Columbia on Wednesday.
Matt LaPaglia added a 40 to help the Screaming Eagles get the victory. Will Hampson finished with a 41 to pace H-AC.
The Honeoye golf team opened its season with a win over Finger Lakes West rival Naples on Wednesday, defeating the Big Green 228-230.
Nate Longbine carded a 42 to lead the Bulldogs to the narrow win. Naples' Andrew Fleischman took medalist honors with an even par 36.
The Geneva golf team opened its season with a road victory over Pal-Mac on Wednesday, outperforming the Red Raiders 219-247 at Crooked Pines Golf Course.
Mark Pitifer carded a 1-under par 34 on the front nine to lead Geneva, including birdies on holes one, three and four.
