LYONS — Rita is a 3-month-old, spayed, gray striped tiger kitty. She came to the shelter as a stray and is a special needs kitty. It appears that she might have been given too much flea medication, or possibly canine instead of feline, before she arrived at the shelter, causing her to have a balance issue that will likely be permanent. Rita needs to be indoors only because of this issue. It’s true when they say that special animals have a way of touching your heart. Rita loves to be held and has the sweetest purr. She loves to play with toys and have fun. Rita is looking for a forever home that will love and cherish her and look past her disability and enjoy her and love her the way she is. Please consider opening your heart and home to this wonderful kitten. She will give you more then you can imagine in return.
Captain is a 3-year-old, neutered, black and brindle Basset mix. He came to the shelter because his owner was moving. He doesn’t like cats and needs a home without children. He must meet any resident dogs because he doesn’t like everyone. He knows how to walk on a leash and sit. He loves toys that squeak. Captain is available through the Adult Companion Program to those who qualify.
