CLYDE — The sixth annual Clyde Mothers’ and Children’s Health Fair will be held in and around the village park in Clyde on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. This special health and education event recognizes parents’ and children’s need for up-to-date information about programs and services available in Wayne County that families might not be aware of. The Wayne County Rural Health Network and its staff have arranged exhibits and activities to inform, educate, and engage everyone who attends the event.
Parents and children can look forward to a day of fun, games and information — all easily accessed in the Clyde Village Park. Raffle prizes and give-a-ways are also available to those who participate. Among the participating agencies are Sodus Community Health Center, Wayne County Action Program, Wayne County Public Health, Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, and many others. A bounce house is available for children to enjoy.
This event is free. Sponsors include: Wayne County Rural Health Network; the Village of Clyde; and Wayne County Public Health. For more information, please call Honie Allen at 483-3200 or Antje Dirksen-Post at 483-3225.
