    Dundee 52, Marcus Whitman 20
    The Dundee football team topped Marcus Whitman 52-20 on Friday night, rushing for 377 yards as a team on the way to the victory. Colin Prior led the Dundee rushing attack with 283 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries, good for a 19-yard average. Paul Pollock had 57 rushing yards and two touchdowns on nine carries and Jeffrey Wood added 23 rushing yards and three touchdowns on nine carries. Pollock also caught the only pass completion of the day for the Scotsmen, a 12-yard grab from Jon Huber (1-of-2, 12 yards). Marcus Whitman finished with 192 yards rushing, led by Lane Brown who toted the ball 12 times for 79 yards. Rhen Grover added 79 rushing yards and one touchdown on 12 attempts, Tate Mangirelli finished with 64 yards and one touchdown on 10 attempts and Eric Link had rushing 10 yards and one touchdown on three attempts. Devante Evans completed both of his pass attempts for a total of 19 yards, a nine-yard pass to Ben Sennett and a 10-yard connection to Rhen Grover.
    Wayne 49, Midlakes 23
    The Wayne Eagles earned a win over Midlakes on Friday, led by an outstanding all-around game from Justin Morrison. Morrison torched the Screaming Eagles on the ground to the tune of 186 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. He also caught two passes for 94 yards and a touchdown and added another touchdown on a punt return. Nathan Currier went 5-of-10 for 164 yards to lead the Eagles' passing attack, including two completions for 70 yards to Mike Hollenbeck. Jeryd Graham carried the ball 35 times for 181 yards and one touchdown to lead Midlakes. Joe Newland had 64 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries and Mason Jones added 21 yards and one touchdown on five carries. With the win Wayne improves to 2-0. Midlakes drops to 0-2.
    GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
    Honeoye 3, Dundee 0
    The South Seneca girls volleyball team earned a sweep of Dundee on Friday, winning the match 25-12, 25-15, 25-23. Abby Allison finished with eight kills to pace Honeoye (3-2). Margaret Slocum added six digs. Erika Sutherland and Sam Clark each recorded two kills and two aces to lead Dundee (0-6). Elayna Eldridge also had two kills.
    Gananda 3, North Rose-Wolcott 1
    Jennie Stearns tallied nine digs and seven aces to lead the Gananda girls volleyball team to a 25-17, 25-11, 18-25, 25-20 win over North Rose-Wolcott. Michelle Suchan had 12 digs, Jessie Carder made nine kills and Peyton Wyjad collected 25 assists to help the Blue Panthers improve to 4-0, 3-0 in league play. Allison Le Fever made 15 kills and four digs to pace North Rose-Wolcott (1-4, 1-2). Karly Patt added 30 assists and five digs.
    Bloomfield 3, H-AC 1
    Alyssa Eveland and Audra Beechler each recorded 12 kills to lead the Bloomfield girls volleyball team to a win over H-AC on Friday. Peyton Robinson added 34 assists and four aces to help the Bombers to the 25-14, 20-25, 25-14, 25-18 decision. Carolyn Buznik made six kills and two aces for H-AC (3-1). Christina Myers chipped in two blocks and one kill. Bloomfield improves to 3-1.

    Honeoye 228, H-AC 260
    The Honeoye golf team ran its season record to 4-1 with a 228-260 win against H-AC. Honeoye's Pete Lovejoy took medalist honors with a 42, followed by John Marble with a 44. Nate Morse led H-AC with a 44.
    GIRLS SOCCER
    Penn Yan 1, Marcus Whitman 0
    The Penn Yan girls soccer team picked up its first win of the season on Friday with a 1-0 decision over visiting Marcus Whitman. Courtney Lafler provided the only goal of the match, scoring off a pass from Heather Andersen. Danielle Chidsey made one save to earn the win in net. Danielle Brown recorded nine saves for Marcus Whitman (0-2).
    Marion 3, Red Creek 0
    The Marion girls soccer team earned a shutout win over Red Creek on Friday to improve to 3-1-2 on the season. Erika Means netted all three goals for Marion, the first three minutes into the game, the second seven minutes later and the third eight minutes into the second half . Emma Means provided assists for the second and third goals while Sami Bailey made three saves to earn the shutout between the pipes. The Black Knights are now undefeated after dropping their first game of the season to Red Jacket. Red Creek drops to 0-4.
    Dundee 1, Geneva 0
    Dundee traveled to Geneva to face the Panthers on Friday afternoon and went home with a 1-0 decision for its first win of the season. Taylor Morrison scored an unassisted goal in the 28th minute to lift the Scotsmen to victory. Melvina Rhode recorded six saves to earn the win between the pipes. Stephanie Smart made eight saves for Geneva (1-1). Dundee improves to 1-1.
    BOYS SOCCER
    Brockport 4, Hilton 1
    The Brockport boys soccer team captured its first win of the season on Friday with a 4-1 triumph over Hilton. Anthony Montanaro scored two goals and added one assist to fuel the Blue Devils. Nick King and Nico Langelotti each added a goal while Stephen Montfort and Jason Hayes both had one assist. With the win Brockport improves to 1-2-2, 1-1 in league play. Hilton drops to 1-3-0, 0-2-0.
    Greece Athena 2, Greece Arcadia 1
    Greece Athena squared off against crosstown rival Greece Arcadia on Friday and defeated the Titans 2-1 in the final seconds of the game. Jordan Smith scored in the 24th minute off a pass from Alexander Loete to put Athena on the board. The Trojans got the game winner in extra time when Alexander Loete scored off an assist from Mike Celestino. With the win Greece Athena improves to 3-1-1. Greece Arcadia falls to 2-3-1.
