Nathaniel Lindley scored three goals to lead the Marcus Whitman boys soccer team to a 3-1 win over Geneva on Saturday.

Lindley put the Wildcats up with a penalty kick goal 11 minutes into the contest. He added two more first-half goals off assists from Sean Bagley and Luca Menicali.

Ryan Daucher scored the Panthers' goal.

Brennan Blodgett made seven saves for Whitman and Gabe Brassett made six for Geneva.


Marion 4, Bloomfield 1

Hunter DeLyser recorded a hat trick to lead the Black Knights. Joe Krocke scored Marion's other goal.


Midlakes 3, Wayne 0

The Screaming Eagles won 25-16, 25-15, 25-9 on Saturday. Jake Kemp led the Screaming Eagles with five kills, eight assists and seven digs. Chris Goodman added eight aces and Seth Walker recorded seven digs.

Midlakes 3, Horseheads 0

The Screaming Eagles won 25-22, 25-14, 25-21. Justin Hoover led the Screaming Eagles with nine kills, while Elijah Delgado chipped in seven kills, three assists and six digs. Jake Kemp tallied six kills, 17 assists and 15 digs. Seth Walker added nine digs and two aces. Midlakes is 3-2.


Gananda 3, Pal-Mac 1

The Blue Panthers lost the first set, but came back to defeat the Red Raiders to remain unbeaten on the season (5-0). The scores were 24-26, 25-16, 20-27, 25-16. Peyton Wyjad dished out a career-high 41 assists, Jenni Stearns recorded 21 kills and 21 digs, Jessi Carder added 21 kills and seven digs and Jess Suchan came up with 16 digs.

Penn Yan 3, South Seneca 1

The games scores were 25-23, 22-25, 25-21, 25-21. Kelly Bray dished out 12 assists for the Mustangs (3-3) and Liz Wunder recorded 12 kills. Bailey Minges led the Falcons (1-4) with 15 assists and eight kills.


South Seneca 4, Waterloo 3, OT

Meghan Perry scored two goals for the Falcons, including the game-winning goal in the second minute of overtime. Caitlin Castle stopped 20 shots for the Indians.

Webster Thomas 3, Victor 0

Marley Jarvis scored two goals for the Titans and Nicole Gerritz scored one. Thomas goalie Kamryn Peffley stopped eight shots to earn the shutout.

Pal-Mac 3, Greece Olympia 0

Samantha Gagliano scored two goals to lead the Red Raiders (1-1-2). Emily Blazey scored once and Cassidy O'Lena and Kelsi Nau both recorded assists. Jessica Locey stopped all seven shots she faced.

Gananda 3, North Rose-Wolcott 0

Mirana Velte, Giulia Mahoney and Katilynn White all scored goals for the Blue Panthers. Sara MacDougall stopped all two shots she faced.


Rush-Henrietta 41, Marshall 0

Jared Gerbino completed 9 of 13 passes for 121 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Royal Comets (1-1). Teammate Fardan Allen added a touchdown run and two touchdown receptions. Reggie Robinson and DeKwon Wilson both added touchdown runs.

Churchville-Chili 40, Greece Arcadia 0

The Saints improved to 2-0 with John Iacucci completing 15 of 22 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns. Mike Caternolo added 10 tackles and a forced fumble and Austen Correia caught five passes for 100 yards and a touchdown.
