Cynthia "Cindy" (Curtis) Kolstad died peacefully on Sept. 12, 2013, at the age of 56 after a determined fight against cancer.
No prior calling. A celebration of Cindy's life will take place at 2 p.m. on Oct. 5 at her home with husband, Bill, on Lake Road in Ontario. Memorials in memory of Cindy can be directed to Lollypop Farm.
Cindy was a retiree from GRS and was a "spitfire". An ardent animal lover, Cindy had a special fondness for her dogs, Brewster and Castle. She had an artisitic touch, which could be easily recognized through her drawing, home decor and her free spirit dancing. Cindy loved good times and parties with family and friends. A lasting impression was left upon all who knew and loved her.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Bill; son, Josh (Katrina) Kolstad; granddaughter, Piper; sister, Kathleen (Neil) Webster; brother, John (Cathy) Curtis; aunt, Bobbie DeOude; several nieces, nephews and other relatives; and special friends Marcia, Roberta and Leslie. She was predeceased by parents, Emily and Jack Curtis; sister, Sharon Greenhagan; mother and father-in-law, Norma and Ed Kolstad; and sister-in-law Judy Kolstad Stone.
