Bio: Daughter of Kathryn and Dennis, Melissa played three seasons of varsity volleyball at Newark High School where she was named team MVP. A four-time scholar athlete award winner, Melissa was also earned the Elizabeth A. Rupert Memorial Scholarship.
As a freshman in 2012 Melissa appeared in 30 matches for the Nazareth women’s volleyball team, seeing action in 67 sets. She finished the season with 51 digs, nine kills, eight aces, two assists and one block while helping the Golden Flyers to an overall record of 22-15. Thus far in 2013 Melissa has appeared in two of three matches for Nazareth, seeing action in six of 10 sets. She has recorded 10 digs, eight kills, three aces and two blocks while helping the Golden Flyers to a 3-0 record.
