Fayetta Mae Hall, 97, passed away peacefully on Sept. 15, 2013, at the Wayne County Nursing Home.
A celebration of Fayetta's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 12 at Park Presbyterian Church, Newark. Arrangements are by Schulz-Pusateri Funeral Home of Newark.
Fayetta was born in Rochester on Feb. 24, 1916. She loved being involved in her family's activities as well as volunteering in many community and church organizations. In her last few years, she entered into as many activities as time would allow at Wayne County Nursing Home. Fayetta's family would like to thank the staff at the Wayne County Nursing Home, especially the Lakeview Heights unit and the Activities Staff, for her loving care.
She is survived by her loving family including daughters, Sandra McMenamin of Palmyra and Diana Lagenor of Fairport, formerly of Newark; grandchildren, Jeffrey Spurles of Sanford, N.C., Stephanie (Matthew) Cass of Broadway, N.C., Jennifer (Todd) Tones of Newark, Peter (Kristen) Lagenor of Pittsboro, N.C., and Brad (Jennifer Graham) Lagenor of Newark; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Hall of Lyons; and many nieces and nephews. She is also remembered fondly by her 13 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Joseph, Jenna Cass, Tanner, Hannah, Noah Tones, Riley, Collin Lagenor, Gage Heidrich, Garrett Lagenor, Kaila, Taylor and Connor Oliver. Fayetta was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Leon R. Hall, in 1988.
