  • A Wayne County woman was charged Wednesday by Ontario County sheriff's deputies with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and not wearing a seatbelt.
Deputies said Casey J. Wendt, 30, of 36 Fulton St., Clyde, was charged following a one-vehicle rollover crash on Armington Road in Manchester. Deputies allege Wendt left the scene of the crash and was located at a residence on Route 21.
Finger Lakes Ambulance personnel responded for a check-over, and Wendt refused transport to a hospital, deputies said. Wendt went by private vehicle to Newark-Wayne Community Hospital for treatment, where she consented to a blood draw, deputies said. She was subsequently charged and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Town Court.
