WOLCOTT — Wayne County Public Health is hosting a Rabies Clinic for pets. The clinic will be held on Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon at 12681 Red Creek Road in Wolcott. This will be the last rabies clinic of 2013.
All cats, dogs, and other animal pets, that are 4 months or older, are required by law to be vaccinated against rabies.
All dogs must be leashed and cats/ferrets securely confined in a carrier to prevent injuries and escapes. A $5 donation is requested to help defray costs, but no pet will be denied vaccination due to the inability to donate.
Please remember to bring your animals’ Rabies Vaccination History Certificate to the clinic if you wish to receive the 3 year Rabies Booster. Vaccinations may be limited, and are given out on a first come, first served basis.
Our goal is to protect our community by vaccinating as many pets as possible. For additional information or questions, call Wayne County Public Health at 946-5749.
