Stanley W. Noble, 91, formerly of Daboll Road, died on Oct. 8, 2013, at Wayne County Nursing Home.
Friends calledfrom 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 11 at Pusateri-Canolesio Funeral Home, 68 Sodus St., Clyde. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Nettle. Burial was in Rose Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to the Clyde-Savannah Public Library or Savannah Congregational Church.
Stan was born in Clyde on March 2, 1922, the son of Francis and Julia Goss Noble. He retired from farming in 1969, and he retired from Goulds Pumps in Seneca Falls where he was a machinist in 1984. He was a member of the Savannah Congregational Church, Goulds Retirees, Savannah Silver Stars, Clyde 60 Plus Club and the National and Clyde Grange.
Stan is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ella MacDougall Noble; son, Larry S. of West Hartford, Conn.; daughter, Sherry (David) Noble Musci of Homer; brother-in-law, Wesley (Edyie) MacDougall; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by her brother, Arthur, and sister, Marion Winter.
