The Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers Men’s Soccer Team will host Union College on Saturday, Oct. 26, at Tiger Stadium, with kick off slated for 2 p.m. Proceeds from the game benefit Camp Good Days and Special Times.
In addition to being the final weekend home game for RIT, the senior captains on the team have decided to dedicate it to Camp Good Days. In order to commemorate this event, RIT will be wearing special game day jerseys. The Tigers will also be collecting donations and promoting the game at the RIT Men’s Hockey games in October.
“We are so pleased to be starting a relationship with the players, parents, coaches and supporters of the RIT Tigers Men’s Soccer Team," said Gary Mervis, Chairman and Founder of Camp Good Days. "Their willingness, hard work and commitment to raise funds allows us to continue providing some good days and special times to some children and families in our community who need them the most."
"It is an honor to dedicate our last regular season home game to Camp Good Days and Special Times," said senior co-captain Andy Fleckenstein of Farmington. "The organization has changed so many lives for the better. We are excited to begin our affiliation with such a great cause."
