  • Farmington woman seriously hurt in Macedon crash; Sodus woman charged

  • A Sodus woman faces several charges, including second-degree vehicular assault, after a serious head-on motor vehicle crash Oct. 30 in Macedon, in which a Farmington woman was injured.
    According to Town of Macedon Police, Julynn M. Criscuolo, 45, of Sodus, was in an intoxicated condition from alcohol and prescription drug medication at 6:25 p.m. Oct. 30 while driving south on Route 350 south of Eddy Road. Police said Criscuolo crossed into the northbound lane and struck a vehicle being driven by Candace C. Aldrich, 64, of Farmington. Aldrich sustained serious physical injuries from the crash and is hospitalized currently at Strong Memorial Hospital. Criscuolo was also taken to Strong, where she was treated for minor injuries and released.
    Criscuolo was charged with second-degree vehicular assault, driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol, reckless driving, failure to keep right and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. She was arraigned in Macedon Town Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 insurance bond. She is to return to Macedon Town Court on Nov. 26.
