LYONS — On Saturday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. the Lyons Public Library, 122 Broad St., will hold a Beginning Excel class in the computer lab at the library. Participants will learn how to set up a spreadsheet, how to enter formulas, change size of cells, columns, rows, how to insert/delete columns and rows and how to format them for numbers, dates, etc. Those attending should have basic computer knowledge and experience working with a mouse.
An Intermediate Excel class will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. in the Computer Lab. This class is for people who want more than a basic understanding of Excel. Both classes will be taught by the library’s technology coordinator, Dennis Watrous.
