  • Children's programs set at Lyons Library

  • LYONS The Lyons Public Library, 122 Broad St., offers two programs for young children from 2 to 5 years old.
    Toddler Tales is for children ages 2-5 and is led by Miss Jenn. Children listen to stories, make a craft to take home and participate in fun activities. This is held on the second and fourth Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the Community Room. The dates in November are through Wednesday, Nov. 27.
    Pleasant Hours Library School is offered every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. for children ages 3 and 4, though slightly younger and older children are welcome. This program, led by Mrs. Mott, is designed to help children get ready for kindergarten. They learn letters, numbers, shapes, colors, etc. while having fun and playing together. This month the dates are: Nov. 14, 19, 21 and 26. The Library will on closed for Thanksgiving on the 28.
