LYONS — Ron and Nancy OneSong will return to the Ohmann Theatre in Lyons to perform their “Country Holiday” show on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. The live production will feature timeless favorites such as “Jingle Bell Rock”, “Blue Christmas” and “Willie Claus”, along with traditional yuletide carols and vintage country classics.
Ron and Nancy OneSong specialize in vintage country, bluegrass, western and gospel music. They have returned to New York after spending a year touring Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina. In addition to live performances, including an appearance at the Rhythm & Roots Festival of Bristol, they were guests on several television and radio broadcasts. They have performed at the Ryman Auditorium and the Nightlife Dinner Theatre in Nashville, the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, and have entertained internationally in Canada, France and England. Over the past decade, they have been featured at special events throughout the Northeast, including the Oswego HarborFest, the New York State Fair, and the Lumberland Cultural Series in the Catskills. They have played alongside Tommy Cash (Johnny’s brother), and have opened for many other national artists such as Roy Rogers Jr., John Anderson, Stonewall Jackson, Mickey Gilley, and Yakov Smirnoff. They will be opened for country star Darryl Worley in mid-December in Clayton, N.Y.
Ron and Nancy OneSong are the former owners of the Medina Stone Farm. They have recorded five all-acoustic albums and are members of the New York State Country Music Association Hall of Honors. They have published an autobiography of their early music career, “Stories of OneSong”.
