  • Ontario County sheriff's deputies, along with Shortsville and Finger Lakes ambulance crews, responded Thursday to 26 Seneca Lane in Manchester for a man who was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Seneca Lane and Village Parkway in the Friendly Village mobile home park.
Deputies said Zack J. Russo, 22, of the residence, was walking on the north side of the roadway when a vehicle described as a red Honda turned the corner from Village Parkway onto Seneca Lane, lost control and slid into Russo, hitting his left leg. The vehicle then left the area, deputies said.
Russo complained of chest pain and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for further evaluation, deputies said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the sheriff's office at (585) 394-4560.
