Grading the Bills after their loss to the Bucs.

Quarterbacks: EJ Manuel had the worst game of his rookie year on Sunday, completing just 18 of 33 passes for 184 yards with no touchdowns and four interceptions. He had only thrown four interceptions combined in his previous eight starts. The first pick wasn't his fault, but the other three were, as Manuel struggled with his accuracy, decision making and pocket presence. Grade: F

Running backs: C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson combined for just 16 rushes for 32 yards and Manuel ended up as the team's leading rusher with 29 yards. The Bills essentially abandoned the run at halftime. Spiller had a long touchdown reception called back due to a holding penalty. Grade: D

Wide receivers: Stevie Johnson led the group with five receptions for 67 yards, but he couldn't haul in a pass that led to Tampa Bay's first interception. Robert Woods caught three passes and Scott Chandler caught two, while Marquise Goodwin and T.J. Graham didn't factor into the score sheet. Woods' holding penalty negated a long touchdown reception for Spiller. Grade: C-

Offensive line: The line couldn't open up holes for the running game and was a sieve in pass protection, allowing Manuel to get sacked seven times and hit on many other plays. Kraig Urbik, Erik Pears, Cordy Glenn and Eric Wood were all flagged for penalties. Grade: F

Defensive line: Marcell Dareus had Buffalo's only sack of the day. Bobby Rainey rushed for 127 yards, as the Bills' run defense struggled for a second-straight week. Kyle Williams, Mario Williams, Jerry Hughes, and Dareus each registered a tackle for a loss. Grade: D

Linebackers: Rookie Kiko Alonso was out of position and missed a tackle on Rainey's 80-yard touchdown run to start the game. He and fellow linebackers Manny Lawson and Nigel Bradham each finished with six tackles. The defense performed well in the second half, but it was too late with the offense struggling. Grade: C

Secondary: Nickell Robey looked overmatched on a deep touchdown pass to Vincent Jackson to make it a 14-3 game. Jairus Byrd and Stephon Gilmore each intercepted Glennon once and the Bills limited the quarterback to 9 of 25 for 90 yards with two touchdowns. Byrd was flagged for a low hit on Glennon that led to a Tampa touchdown late in the first half. Grade: C+

Special teams: Leodis McKelvin fumbled two punts and one was recovered by the Bucs. Dan Carpenter hit field goals from 40 and 46 yards. Grade: B-

Coaching: The Bills didn't look ready to play football on Sunday. The defense pulled things together in the second half, but the offense looked lost all day long. Buffalo converted just 1 of 11 third downs. Where were the throws downfield to Goodwin and Graham? Grade: D
