The Blue Devils beat Spencerport and more results from Thursday night.
FAIRPORT — Victor's David Farrance continued his strong start to the season with a hat trick in the team's 9-0 win over Spencerport Thursday at Thomas Creek Ice Arena. The freshman has six goals and two assists already in his first year on the varsity team.
"Our guys are moving the puck really well," Blue Devils coach Mike Ferreri said. "When he gets an opportunity to shoot, he shoots and he can finish."
Teammate RJ Miller dished out three assists, Eric Haney and Kevin O'Brien both added a goal and an assist, and goalie Christian Portland stopped 18 shots for the shutout.
Victor went up 3-0 in the first 4:30 of the game. Portland made some big saves in the second period when Spencerport went on the power play a few times.
"Our kids came out with a lot of energy and really did everything that was asked of them," the coach said.
Victor (3-1) visits Aquinas at 6 p.m. Saturday at Lakeshore.

The Eagles scored the game-winning goal with 12 seconds left in the second period. Luke MacNeil, Ben Myles and Joe Post scored the goals for the Braves and Damien Spitz tallied two assists.

The Big Green (4-1) jumped out to a 17-9 lead after the first quarter. Andrew Fleischman led Naples with 21 points including six 3-pointers, teammate Isaiah Tilley scored 16, Tanner VandeSande scored 13, and Tyler Holton scored eight. Tanner Gladding led the Bulldogs (1-4) with nine points.
Bloomfield 78, Red Jacket 36
The Bombers (3-0) led 22-12 after the first quarter and 41-17 at halftime. Wyatt Conklin scored 13 points to lead Bloomfield, Austin Ferguson recorded 12 points, five rebounds, seven assists and four steals; Brian Dulen added 12 points and eight rebounds; and Richie Ashman finished with 10 points and six rebounds. Kory Fogarty scored 12 points to lead the Indians.
Clyde-Savannah 60, Gananda 44
Joemaine Bogan scored a career-high 33 points, and added 11 rebounds and five assists for the Golden Eagles (5-0). Bradley Doway scored 15 for the Blue Panthers (2-2).
Lyons 70, Williamson 40
DJ Long scored 17 points and pulled in 10 rebounds to lead the Lions (2-1). Teammate Damien Scott added 13 points and five assists, and Damon Hunter chipped in 16 points and six assists.
Rush-Henrietta 48, Victor 36
The Royal Comets outscored the Blue Devils 17-10 in the fourth quarter to pull away. Franny Valenti led Victor with 12 points; teammate Kate Leonard added nine points, seven rebounds and four steals; and Kristen Simmons scored nine.
Honeoye Falls-Lima 49, Canandaigua 23
Laney Sullivan scored 14 points to lead the Cougars.

Alex Brion won the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke to lead the Braves (3-1). His backstroke time of 54.68 is a state-meet qualifying time. Teammate Trevor Dobies won both the 100 and 200 free, Scott Richardson won the 200 individual medley, Noah Barnard won diving, and Sean Carbary won the 500 free. Kyle Power won the 50 free for Newark (1-3) and teammate Nick Greco won the 100 breaststroke.

The Blue Devils had three double winners in their trip to Hilton on Thursday. Luke Shanahan won the 50 free and 100 free, Jared Ritz won the 200 free and 100 butterfly, and Paul LaRue won the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke. Teammate Tyler Alden won the 500 free.
