The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) at The Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (CMAC) will host its Independence Day concert on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 8 p.m. The RPO's Salute to America will feature American classics and patriotic marches, including Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" and Sousa's "Stars and Stripes Forever."
The family-friendly event with its post-concert fireworks display for 2014 includes special ticket promotions:The 2014 concert will offer free lawn tickets to guests under 18. The special value responds to the interest families have shown in attending the annual, patriotic concert, said Charles Owens, RPO president and chief executive officer in a release Wednesday.
Tickets for Salute to America to be held at CMAC on the Finger Lakes Community College campus in Hopewell range from $15 for lawn seats to $49 for table seats. Each adult ticket purchase receives two lawn tickets at no charge for those 18 years of age and younger.
