  • Wayne County receives emergency program funding

  • The Emergency Food and Shelter Program National Board awarded the Wayne County EFSP Board a total of $3,47 in funds.
    The local EFSP Board has the responsibility to re-allocate the funds to local agencies that will provide direct emergency services including food, shelter, housing, utilities to Wayne County residents.
    Wayne County agencies providing direct emergency services can apply to receive a portion of the total $3,479 allocation. Funding will be announced Feb. 25.
    Applications are available at waynecap.org and should be returned to donna.johnson@waynecap.org. All applications should be submitted by 4 p.m. on Dec. 23.
