  • Tickets for dinner celebrating agriculture expected to sell out

  • Last year the Annual Celebrate Agriculture Dinner for 400 sold out in January.

  • Tickets are on sale now for the 12th Annual Celebrate Agriculture Dinner set for Saturday, March 22, 2014. The event celebrating agriculture is open to the public. The dinner begins at 6 p.m. at the Alexander Fire Hall, Route 98 in Alexander, Genesee County.
    Locally produced vegetables and meat will be prepared into a meal by Penna's Catering.
    Last year the event that serves as many as 400 sold out in January so people are advised to purchase tickets as soon as possible.

    Tickets are $25 each or $230 for a table of ten. Less than half of the 400 tickets are still available. Last year the event sold out in January so get your tickets now! Sponsorships are also available which help support agriculture educational events in Genesee County.
    The Celebrate Ag Dinner is coordinated by many Genesee County farms and businesses and organizations including Cornell Cooperative Extension of Genesee County, Genesee County Chamber of Commerce, Genesee County Soil & Water Conservation District and Genesee County Farm Bureau.
