WILLIAMSON — Assemblyman Robert Oaks (R,C-Macedon) was in attendance Dec. 10 when the New York State Police graduated the 200th Session of the Basic School in a ceremony at Empire State Plaza in Albany.
The class included Jordan Szklany, 30, of Williamson, who will be assigned to Troop C in Homer. He has been a lifelong Williamson resident. He and his wife, Lauren, have one child and are expecting another. He was most recently employed by K.M. Davies of Williamson.
Graduation from the Basic School marks the beginning of a long and rewarding career in law enforcement for Szklany, Assemblyman Oaks said.
“I am proud to have a graduate from the 200th Session of Basic School from my district,” he noted.
