NEWARK — Brinley Rose Ceratt, the daughter of Danelle and Derek Ceratt, of Wolcott, was the first baby born in 2014 at the Birthing and Women’s Care Unit at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. Brinley was delivered on Jan. 1 at 4:50 a.m. by Neelam Sharma, M.D. She weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounce and was 19 1/2 inches long at birth.
Brinley’s parents were presented with a beautiful baby gift basket from the Boxwood Twig Gift Shop compliments of the Birthing Center and the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital Auxiliary.
Brinley is welcomed by three siblings: Caiden (age 8), Nicholas (age 6) and Eliana (14 months).
