Hurricane Sandy – also known as “Frankenstorm” by government forecasters – is headed toward the East Coast and could early next week. The massive storm is expected to be over the Bahamas on Friday, and rain from the storm could hit the U.S. this weekend. Forecasters are saying Sandy will cause problems from Florida all the way to Maine.

That's a part of my game." – San Francisco Giants player Pablo Sandoval, who hit three home runs in Game 1 of the World Series in leading his team to a win over the Detroit Tigers. Only three other players have hit three homers in a World Series game: Babe Ruth, Reggie Jackson and Albert Pujols.
