The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Wayne County, 1581 Route 88, Newark, will host a mushroom workshop from 3 to 6 p.m. May 11.
The workshop will discuss the basics of outdoor mushroom growing, and participants will learn how to best grow a number of different kinds of mushrooms, including shitake, oyster, loins mane, stropharia and more.
Cost is $30 per person and class size is limited to 25 participants. Registration is required.
