At the Wayne County Nursing Home, residents, visitors, family and staff joined in sharing their holiday spirit during their LEG Social that was held recently.
The Life Enrichment Group celebrated the holidays with a Christmas Social in which residents, families and staff were invited to spread joy and laughter. The day’s festivities began with residents making cinnamon applesauce ornaments from scratch, filing the hallways with a holiday scent. After lunch, residents and staff enjoyed their favorite Christmas drink while decorating ornaments with paint and glitter to add love to the Christmas tree. Others displayed their creative side constructing personalized snowmen complete with a carrot nose.
