Ninety-Six team members were recognized for their years of service at the annual Newark-Wayne Community Hospital and DeMay Living Center Team Member Recognition Reception at Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club on Oct. 23.
All total these individuals have spent 1,300 years caring for patients and residents at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital and DeMay Living Center. The event was emceed by Human Resource Business Partner, Michele Fortune. Laurie Petrosino, the “People Pillar” Co-Leader coordinated the event. Reverend Carlos Smith led the blessing. Speakers included: Mark Klyczek, NWCH President; Bob Havrilla, Chair, NWCH Board of Directors; Deb Stamps, Chief Nursing Officer NWCH; Deb Wegman, Chief Nursing Officer, DLC; and Kathy McGuire, Senior Leader Senior Services/Long Term Care, Rochester General Health System.
“Events like this give us the opportunity to pay tribute and thank all of the great people who have dedicated themselves to caring for the people who come to our hospital and DeMay for their health care,” said Mark Klyczek, President. “We have had another banner year with growth in many areas at both of these institutions. The growth is a result of the years of dedication by these Newark-Wayne and DeMay team members.”
