Palmyra Marina mural to be dedicated

Welcoming visitors to the Port of Palmyra, a mural of street scapes hangs just east of the pavilion at the marina.

Designed and painted by Erin Nilsen, art teacher at the Palmyra-Macedon Middle School and middle school art students, Bethany Vancaeseele, Ellie Jones, Savannah Kasperski, Carrine Rogers, Page Sapienza, Sara Sapienza, Jacky Javorowsky, Kendall Jones, Jordan Jaeger, Douglas Hoyt, Hollie Knapp, Samantha Maniscola, Ariana Pelton, Amanda George, Katie Cossaboon and Taylor Palermo, the marina mural will be dedicated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, during Canaltown Days, when student artists will be recognized and thanked for their efforts.
