Songs From the Pubs of Ireland, a Celtic music concert, will be presented at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, at Zion Episcopal Church, 120 East Main St. in Palmyra with guest artist Thom Dutton, Cape Cod's award-winning Troubadour Harper.
This year's concert celebrates the release of Thom’s fifth CD which features songs he learned while playing in the pubs of Ireland.
Dutton, a favorite with Palmyra audiences, will be making his eighteenth tour of the area. A Palmyra native who has lived on Cape Cod for more than 25 years, Thom took up the harp in 1987 and has since logged in more than 1,200 performances in churches, coffeehouses and concert halls throughout New England and New York. He has also performed in Wales and England as well as in the pubs of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
