Convicted wife killer Walter Casper has been released from prison after serving more than a year for violating his parole.
Casper was previously accused of possessing a knife and fireworks. It was determined those were in fact weapons and a violation of his parole from a manslaughter conviction for killing his wife a decade ago.
Cathy Bly Casper died when her husband let the family van roll off a cliff with her still inside. His murder conviction was later overturned and reduced to manslaughter. Casper served 10 years of a 15 year sentence before being paroled.
