The Palmyra-Macedon Rotary Club delivered some knowledge to young students.
The annual dictionary distribution project took place on Friday, Nov. 30. Members of the club distributed dictionaries at the Palmyra-Macedon Intermediate School. This project has been done annually since 2003 with over 1980 dictionaries distributed. Some of the original recipients are now in college. Added this year was the distrbution of thesauruses to the fourth graders.
Later this month, Rotarians will be ringing the bell for the Salvation Army at Breen's Market in Palmyra. Last year, the Pal Mac Rotary Club collected over $2,300 for the annual Salvation Army Red Kettle drive. Look for a local rotarian, ringing the bell in the cold weather, and most of all — be generous.
