The property at 317 East Main St. includes a two and one-half story, three-bay-wide, side-hall brick former dwelling/now commercial. With high-style Italianate features; broadly projecting eaves and bracketed cornice returns, wide frieze with applied wood details, segmental arched double-window in front gable end with iron balcony.
Windows with highly ornate, segmental arched lintels and bracketed sills,' floor-length windows on first story, iron balconies. Ornate cast-iron fence marked "C. T. Bush Patent Fence -April 22, 1873." Building was constructed circa 1860.
