The Fairville Explorer Post No. 751 went to The Firemen’s Association of the State of New York 2013 Winter Games on Feb. 8 through 10 at Greek Peak Mountain Resort in Cortland.
The weekend was a challenging and fun time. Eight explorers attended with four advisors. The explorers formed two teams to compete in the winter games. The events were tube racing down the ski slope tied together for the best time, which Fairville’s Team No. 1 took first place, four wheeler pull contest, hose relay, tug of war, and broomball on the ice.
This event brought firemen to Greek Peak for the weekend of skill, challenges and camaraderie.
