Election commissioners Jack Bailey and Richard Clark were recognized by the Wayne County Board of Supervisors at their Dec. 21 meeting.
Clark served as commissioner from 2002 to 2010; Bailey from 1998 to 2010.
“They were in charge of switching over from lever voting machines to the digital system,” said Jim Hoffman, chairman board of supervisors. “We certainly appreciate all they did.”
Both are retiring.
