Palmyra-Macedon High School senior Allyson Blazey and Wayne Central senior Marina Barci have been selected to represent Wayne County at the League of Women Voters' Students Inside Albany conference.
By participating in the conference, the two students will attend lectures by professionals working in fields that impact the political process, take a guided tour of the Capitol, and get a chance to shadow a New York state assemblyperson and state senator.
The conference will take place March 25 to March 28. According to the League of Women Voters of New York State's website, the conference is designed to immerse students in the process in which public policy is proposed, enacted on and changed in New York state.
