John A. Greene Associates has been named the December Business of the Month by the Newark Chamber.
The company was started by the Greenes in 2004 when their son encouraged them to practice land surveying. At the time the company was founded, it had one full crew and worked in Wayne, Ontario, Seneca and Yates counties. Over the years, it has grown and expanded.
With the additions of Michael Sponable and Tim Voellinger, the company got an experienced engineer and land surveyor who were knowledge with deeds, maps and other documents related to surveying.
Before starting John A. Greene Associates, Greene worked for Hanish & Lookup, Hershey Malone and MRB Group. He is a graduate of the Wanakena Ranger School, and received a land surveying license in 1970.
